What We’re Looking For
We invest in great entrepreneurs solving the world’s most ambitious and important problems through radical technological innovation. Companies that we invest in typically have:
- A world-class team with tremendous technological and business acumen.
- A passionate and ambitious vision about making the world a better place.
- A technological insight or breakthrough that would be very difficult to replicate.
In addition to the above, the best companies are powered by bringing together their audacious dreams with a strong grounding in reality. Successful entrepreneurs will have studied the market they want to enter, will be realistic about the costs, time to market, and competitive landscape they are facing, and will have a clear idea of the practical steps they need to take to dominate that market.
We are open to investing in a variety of sectors (some of which may not yet be in existence), and at a variety of stages in a company’s growth trajectory. The size of our investments range from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions, depending on the stage, size, and capital needs of the companies in which we are investing.

While we prefer to let our entrepreneurs operate without distraction, our partners can provide support in the areas most critical to your business, whether strategy, marketing, product design, recruiting, or with raising additional capital. We want our partnership to be meaningful and will do everything we can to help you make your business succeed.

If you would like your venture to be considered by Founders Fund, please complete the above questionnaire and form, and include a 10 – 20 page presentation containing an overview of your business. Please be sure to cover the following topics:
